Squadron Cadets clean up the highway along the

Ocala International Airport

11 cadets aided by Major Swain, Lt Tamblingson, SM Schaetzl and a parent, Mr. Stuart Carnie, performed a community service project on 6 September 2008. The Adopt a Road Litter Control

Adopt a Road program has the Squadron do three times a year, cleanup of the highway along side of the Ocala International Airport. This has been the first time in about a year and a half, as that portion of the highway has been widen.

The cadets picked up 5 bags of trash from both sides of the highway for a 1 mile stretch.

They all received 3 hours of Community Service which they will use to gain towards completing their 60 hours of community service to receive the Community Servicre Ribbon
