Henry Aviation holds an Aviation Expo for

N H Jones Elementary School Children

Henry Aviation, located at Jim Taylor International Airport in Ocala Florida, held an aviation expo for about 70 students from NH Jones Elementary School. A dozen war birds from Leeward Aviation Ranch and other general aviation aircraft were on display.

The war birds had their pilots show the students the interior of their aircraft. Civil Air Patrol had the Marion County Composite Squadron’s Cessna 206 on display. Lt. Col Paul Blystone and Major Stephen Nelson were on hand to explain what the aircraft does and opened it for them to sit in the cockpit and passenger area. Thou they were young students, many express interests in flying and getting their pilots license later when they are old enough.

They were also able to see from afar, John Travolta’s private Boeing 707 jet on the ramp at Landmark Aviation which was undergoing maintenance.
